Hi Sailors!
Name is Steve Mintie and I live here with my wife Angie in beautiful Tillamook, Oregon.
I have a background in music education; however, most of my working life has been in industry. I was a superintendent of a large cemetery all of last decade, and prior to moving to Tillamook I worked in the sanitation industry.
I started pursuing videography when I learned powered paragliding years ago. Flying above the clouds and kicking tree tops without a cockpit inspired me to capture the moments, but also reframe them to convey how it made me feel.
I wanted to do that and convey the same feelings on the ground though. Moving to Tillamook County made that easy as I met a lot of wonderful people and businesses that I started making free media for and I’m excited to work for the locals of the region as well as visitors.
My goal is to provide a different perspective when it comes to media work. I feel that money, time, and technology has hindered creativity when it comes to modern media and marketing. As such, I like breaking rules and doing things different, but I can accommodate a specific style or need as well.
Videography is expensive and a bit of a luxury. If possible, I want to make it more accessible to the locals and businesses of the area especially if I can develop a long term relationship with them. Rather than hiring a studio from the metro that may be prohibitively expensive, I’ll be able to be much more flexible with your budget.
I am well adept to capture weddings, private and public events, church functions, funerals, and recitals. I also provide support for businesses with advertising, product showcases, interviews, and I also have experience creating training and internal informational videos as well. I regularly use 360 cameras and drones which lends itself well to real estate and vacation rentals as I am able to create virtual tours. Speaking of drones, I am a certified part 107 drone pilot as well that is fully licensed for commercial work.
I also do non-profit work which has included work for libraries, animal shelters, and public service.
If you have an event or project coming up, I’d love to work with you. I’m available face to face via Google Meet or Facebook Messenger for a consultation as well. Thank you for stopping by and feel free to reach out!
